Elsworth at the Mill is a unique renovated space situated within a historic period Corn Mill in centre of Skipton.

The top floor features high wooden beamed ceilings which have over the years been reinforced with industrial steel girding giving a more contemporary look to a heritage feature. With two walls of windows the south facing Mill takes advantage of the natural daylight, perfect for photography and daytime film shooting. The room also has the ability to be able to block daylight through the blinds on each window.

The Yorkshire stone wall runs the width of the large space and provides a fantastic backdrop to either photographs or filming.

With a 150 square meters floor space, the room can be used for a wide variety of photoshoots and filming situations from period settings to a more modern aesthetic.

The large space is a blank canvas waiting to be dressed to suit the shot. It has been used as a meeting space, wedding reception, dining event and social occasion using our in house well stocked bar.

The space also makes a perfect base unit for film crews on location within the area as the space has a kitchen next door and capacity to have up to 70 guests at any one time within the room.

The large car park has space for 6 vehicles for film crews to situate in and use as a base and at certain times can accommodate up to over 12 vehicles. The Mill is centrally located and surrounded by several large car parking facilities.

The venue also situated at the beginning of Skipton woods alongside the Leeds & Liverpool canal featuring historic bridges, old willow trees and ancient walks perfect for taking that exterior shot.

From our windows you can see the impressive medieval Skipton Castle and the HolyTrinity Parish Church making an atmospheric part of town.

Space only = £29.50 + vat pr hr (between 9-5) or £35 ph + VAT (outside those hours) with a minimum of 3 hours
